Effective September 9, 2026
LOCK IN LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides Ezer, a Scripture-grounded AI companion for conversation, prayer, and gentle daily check-ins. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Ezer.
Information used by Ezer
- Conversation content: the messages you type and, during a voice call, your voice audio and its transcript. Ezer uses this content to understand you and provide a response.
- Your preferences: information you choose in the app, such as a display name, language, Bible version, reminder setting, text size, and accessibility preferences.
- Service protection: a short-lived, one-way hashed version of a network identifier may be used to limit abusive or excessive requests. It is not used for advertising or to build a profile about you.
No account is required to use Ezer. If the app offers optional account contact fields, such as an email address or phone number, those settings remain on your device and are not sent to Ezer’s server.
How conversation content is processed
Your conversation input is sent through Ezer’s server to OpenAI so the AI can understand and respond. Ezer disables application-state storage for text-response requests. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, unless a shorter approved retention setting applies or a longer period is required by law. Railway hosts Ezer’s server and processes network traffic and ordinary operational logs needed to run and secure the service.
Ezer’s server does not create a database or stored history of your chats, audio, or transcripts, and it does not write conversation bodies to Railway logs. Chat history and preferences that appear in the app are stored locally on your device unless you clear that data or delete the app.
Microphone and notifications
Ezer accesses the microphone only while you are using the voice-call feature and after you grant permission. Optional daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device. You can change microphone and notification permissions in your device settings.
How we use and share information
We use information only to provide, protect, troubleshoot, and improve Ezer. We do not sell personal information. We do not use conversation content for third-party advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers. OpenAI and Railway act as service providers under contractual privacy and security obligations; we require service providers handling Ezer information to use it only to provide and protect the service and to apply protections consistent with this policy and applicable law.
Your choices
You may delete local conversation history within the app, change preferences, disable notifications or microphone access, or delete Ezer from your device. To revoke consent, stop using the online conversation features and disable microphone access. For a privacy or deletion request, Email emilywebdeveloper22@gmail.com. We will delete information we control when applicable and ask our service providers to do the same when appropriate. Security and abuse-prevention records may remain until the retention period above ends or longer if required by law.
Children
Ezer is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information through Ezer, please contact us so we can review the request.
Safety and security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sharing information you would not want processed by an AI service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Ezer changes. The effective date above will identify the current version.
